The Castlecrag infants campus was previously a state primary school comprising largely of prefabricated buildings. The BER funding allowed Glenaeon to construct a new Primary School Hall, Library, Classroom and Administration Facilities. BJA’s design endeavours to bring harmony to the old and new buildings and the natural landscape with its magnificent rock outcrops and angophora trees that so inspired Walter Burley Griffin.
The hexagonal shaped hall with its mini stage is multifunctional and is designed to allow community use. The interior was colour lasured by Guy Walker.
