MANLY 2015 -2016
This building was a typical two storey retail outlet with a heritage listed façade to the Corso and underutilised first floor and Rialto lane frontage. BJA obtained approval to construct commercial tenancies on the first and second floors with access from new lobby and lift off the lane. The lobby features an undulating timber batten ceiling and wall contrasting with an eggshell rendered wall finish opposite.
Negotiations with Manly council allowed us to remove on site parking and the loading dock.
These boutique office spaces create a new benchmark for commercial returns in Manly and become an exciting part of Manly’s revitalised laneway scene.
